Performing a SkinBase Microdermabrasion Pedicure on your client is quick and easy, leaving them with fresh, glowing skin. Start by gently cleansing the skin with the SkinBase purifying gel cleanser. Afterwards, you can soak the feet to remove any remaining cleanser, and prep them for treatment. Before using the Microdermabrasion machine, you can do any required cuticle work, and file the feet and toenails to achieve the best results. Then, begin the microdermabrasion. Perform an all-over base exfoliation, ensuring strokes are no longer than 4cm in length. As the feet are tougher than the face, you can begin treatment on a level three or four depending on your individual clients suitability. After you have gone over all of the foot with the microdermabrasion wand, you can begin to target problem areas. Focus on any build up of dead cells on the hard skin areas of the feet, such as the heels. After the microdermabrasion, you may want to offer a soothing mask or massage. However, you must avoid any heat treatments afterwards. You can offer clients a pedicure every 4-6 weeks to keep their feet smooth and glowing.
