Collagen Lift Patch Test Procedure

A patch test is ALWAYS performed at least 24 hours before the 1st treatment

  1. Log in
  2. Select 'Clients'


Firstly you're going to add your new client's details into the machine

  1. Click 'New'


  1. Enter your client's details and click 'Save Client'. (You must input details into all of the highlighted boxes shown above. If you client does not have an email address, enter n/a). A box will pop up asking you to confirm you wish to add the client. Click 'OK'
Your client is now saved on the machine

  1. Select 'Start Treatment'


Set up the treatment on the machine as follows:
  1. Type - Monopolar
  2. Start Power - Low
  3. Area of Body - Arms
  4. Treatment Time - 1.00 min

Always patch test with the Monopolar handset as this penetrates in more depth. When using the Monopolar handset you must use the return plate and this has to be on the opposite side to where the treatment is being done. Patch testing is always performed on the inner forearm. The silver side on the return plate touches the skin and it must have full skin contact, there cannot be a gap, the arm must lay flat on the return plate. Before doing the patch test make sure there is plenty of conductive gel on the skin. 

  1. Place the monopolar handpiece on the skin and work in circular motions. Then press your foot down on the foot pedal at the same time and clock play on the screen (the machine will make a beeping sound, this means your treatment has started)
The machine needs to be set to 20% for the duration of the patch test treatment.

  1. To turn up the percentage you will need to pause the machine so keep the hand piece moving in circular motions on the skin and release your foot off the pedal (the machine will beep again which indicates the treatment has been paused) you can then increase the percentage by sliding the percentage bar up.
