All about SkinBase Hydro Treatments

What is Hydro?

SkinBase Hydro is a non-invasive treatment specially designed to cleanse, exfoliate, purify, hydrate and revitalise the skin.

The treatment incorporates a natural blend of AHAs and BHAs to rid the skin of dead skin cells and debris. The peel removes the top layers of the skin called the stratum corneum, which results in skin that feels instantly smoother and fresher, while stimulating cell turnover and collagen growth.

Once the pores are unclogged and the skin is prepped, an infusion of powerful ingredients are targeted into the skin with the use of a personalised serum.

The Hydro treatment is versatile and effective. With a range of serums to choose from, it is ideal for anyone who wishes to achieve healthy, glowing skin.

Regular Hydro treatments will ensure continued improvement for your skin concerns.

How Does Hydro Work?

SkinBase Hydro uses a multi-step process of a cleanse, peel and serum during the treatment. Once the serum has absorbed, your SkinBase Therapist will follow up with the SkinBase Essentials skincare range to lock the fantastic ingredients into your skin, and keep it protected post-treatment. The method used during the Hydro treatment ensures a variety of benefits for the skin. Find out more about the benefits here.

The Hydro peel is an excellent part of the Hydro treatment, as it is packed full of hardworking active ingredients that exfoliates the skin, helping it glow.

SkinBase Hydro involves a choice of three serums, to personalise the treatment to your specific skin concerns.

The renewing serum contains powerful anti-ageing ingredients that improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while also helping to hydrate the skin and reduce inflammation.

The brightening serum is packed with antioxidants that improve the tone and texture of the skin for a more radiant appearance.

The clarifying serum has a variety of effective, calming ingredients that work to fight breakouts, reduce inflammation and minimise excess oil productions

If you are looking for an instant skin boost, you could opt for a single session of SkinBase Hydro and benefit from the multi-step process as a one off treatment. However, if you have specific skin concerns you would like to treat, we would recommend a course of treatments to maximise the results you can achieve.

How Does Hydro Work?

During a Hydro treatment, a multi-step process of a cleanse, a peel and serum is used. Applied using a vacuum action, these ingredients are delivered more effectively into the skin, as the vacuum helps to enhance absorption and penetration. Additionally, the vacuum action stimulates blood flow and lymphatic drainage, promoting detoxification and improving circulation. The peel exfoliates the skin, removing any dead skin cells and debris. The targeted serum is then infused into the skin, to combat your specific skin concerns. Once the serum has absorbed, your SkinBase Therapist will follow up with the SkinBase Essentials skincare range to lock the fantastic ingredients into your skin, and keep it protected post-treatment.
