Microdermabrasion Launch Marketing

Microdermabrasion Launch Marketing

A few weeks before the start of your two week free trial with the microdermabrasion machine is the ideal time to start promoting the treatment. Your two week free trial will start straight after your training and this is the perfect time to get lots of practice and build your confidence performing the treatment. Time spent launching your treatment now will be time well spent. You can make up to £1000 during your two week free trial before you have paid a penny and you will have a queue of returning clients to ensure the treatment's success in your business.

We recommend offering a discount on your new treatment to promote it, popular offers include £10 off first treatment and discounts for group bookings of treatments e.g., Buy 5 get 6th free or Save 20% on a course of 6. Make sure you send a reminder out to clients in the run up to the launch date to make sure they don’t miss out on the offer.  Marketing this treatment is key to its success. Speak to every single client about the treatment. Make sure therapists, hairdressers, receptionists, anyone working in your business, knows how the treatment works, what it does and how it can benefit clients.

These two weeks give you the opportunity to offer the treatment at a discount to your clients and create a buzz about the facial!

Pricing SkinBase MDPro Treatments

The average price for a half hour MD treatment is £35-45 or roughly the same as you currently charge for an hour facial, this is usually between £35 -£60.  We recommend you don’t charge any less than this for the treatment. If you could get just 10% of your clients to have the treatment think how that could improve profits in your business.

In our experience those who charge too cheaply for the treatment really struggle to make it work and are the most likely to send the machine back. £35-45 for a half hour treatment provides a good profit margin and remember this treatment is fantastic and well worth that price. If you choose to do an hour MD treatment common additions include facial masks, shoulder rubs, and Indian head massages. You can usually increase the price 50% compared with the half an hour SkinBase facial.

Remember:  After the first treatment with £10 off, the idea is to ask the client if they would like to purchase a course of treatments at a discount.  The level of discount is up to you but a popular one that seems to work is;

  • Buy a course of 5 and get the 6th treatment free

  • Buy a course of 10 only pay for 8

It is not unusual for salons to rebook virtually all clients and to sell courses to at least 40% of them.

If your clients are considering Microdermabrasion, they are on their way to a skincare transformation like no other. The Microdermabrasion process is visible from the first session, leaving clients with smoother, healthier-looking skin. Subsequent treatments allow increased intensity during the facial, so you can reach deeper layers of their skin. They may have questions before they commit. Scroll through the Q&A posts below that answer any questions they may have and even those they haven’t thought of yet. Post to social media as captions along with the images in the attachments to educate your clients. You can access more promotional marketing images on the link here: Promotional images

POST ONE - HOW DOES MD WORK?
Your skincare is a big commitment, and you should make an informed decision. Let us help you make the right one with all the answers to your MD questions. Begin your skin transformation now! Have you seen the before and after pictures and want to know what Microdermabrasion is and how it works? Microdermabrasion is a safe, controlled treatment that intensely exfoliates and resurfaces the skin. It is the leading skincare treatment in the UK & Ireland for complete skin rejuvenation.

POST TWO - WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS

Now we've told you what Microdermabrasion is, you’re surely wondering what the benefits are? The various advantages are what makes Microdermabrasion such a popular treatment. The treatment settings are widely adjustable, so we can tailor to individual skin types and problems. Therefore, during your consultation with us, we can decide on the outcome.

POST THREE - WHAT DOES MD TREAT?

You’re probably wondering what exactly the Microdermabrasion process can treat. MD is not just for facials. You can treat problem areas anywhere. Worried about signs of ageing on your hands? Come and get a Microdermabrasion Manicure. Feeling self-conscious about getting your feet out in the sun? Come for an MD pedicure.

POST FOUR - HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?

Too impatient to wait for results? You’re in luck! From the very first treatment, you can reveal younger, healthier-looking skin. With each additional treatment, we can increase the intensity of the facial Microdermabrasion, reaching deeper layers of skin. Therefore, we recommend booking a course for the best transformation.

POST FIVE - HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE TREATMENTS?

Are you trying to fit MD into a busy schedule? No problem! We recommend that you get Microdermabrasion treatments every 7-10 days, which means once a week, you get to sit back, put your feet up and relax while we work our magic.

POST SIX - WHY BOOK A COURSE OF MD?

We recommend booking a course over single treatments due to the astonishing before and after results shown by having multiple treatments. Having a course of treatment also makes you eligible to enter the SkinBase Transformation Of The Year 2022 competition. Monthly prizes and a holiday is up for grabs for the best transformations. New skin and a Caribbean holiday, what’s not to love?
